While serving as Art Director on New World, I was invited to contribute to an unannounced project. Due to my ongoing leadership responsibilities, I strategically split my time between both projects, ensuring continued delivery and visual alignment on New World while supporting early development and creative direction on the new title.
On unannounced project, I was responsible for UI concept and character concept art.
Female Elf Face Study
I was tasked with exploring a unique visual identity for female elves. The challenge was to create a look that felt otherworldly while still retaining beauty and elegance. The elves were meant to feel distinct from humans—ethereal, timeless, and refined—rather than simply idealized versions of people.
Elves are described as the fairest beings, a race far more beautiful than Men. This study was an attempt to interpret that idea visually by pushing subtle proportions, expression, and harmony beyond the human norm without losing believability.
